African American Jazz Caucus, is a 501(c)3 charitable volunteer-based organization that aims to preserve, promote, and perpetuate African Diaspora contributions to the rich cultural heritage of jazz through our mission of preserving, promoting, and perpetuating African Diaspora contributions to the rich cultural heritage of jazz. Through the support of its membership, the AAJC continues to provide platforms for jazz education and discourse, live performances, mentorship and professional networks opportunities for its members, addition to efforts that support and promote jazz programs in Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Predominately Black Institutions (HBCU/PBI).
