Performance Description: In Motion Quartet performs forward-thinking original jazz with a nod to the piano-less groups of Ornette Coleman, Dewey Redman, and Lee Konitz. The chord-less make-up of the group allows the band the freedom to stretch harmonically and melodically while maintaining an emphasis on rhythmic interaction and improvised counterpoint.
