Description: While many lessons can be learned from the great improvisers (swing feel, vocabulary, tone/technique, spirit, etc.), the realm of discussion regarding the structure and organization of their sound is very slim. By looking at the compositions and improvisations of great composer/improvisers, we find examples of how to tell a story.
